About Us
The Manning-Great Lakes Woodworkers Inc. is a club promoting the practice of woodworking and associated wood crafts in a friendly and informative way. We enjoy fellowship among members by holding regular workshop sessions, demonstrations, seminars, visits to other clubs and outings. Membership is open to anyone interested in woodworking, both male and female, young and not so young, and regardless of experience.
Our premises on the banks of the Manning river consist of three buildings, a workshop, a kitchen/meeting room, and The Bridge Gallery.
Our members perform turning, scroll sawing, pyrography, box making, and many other aspects of woodworking, using the comprehensive range of equipment available in the workshop.
The kitchen/meeting area has a well stocked library plus a good kitchen with coffee and tea available.
The Bridge Gallery is in the third building and is our latest venture. It has a display of the many items made by our members with the majority available for sale. The Bridge Gallery is open to the public every Saturday.
